LPC 13xx Deep Power Down

I have been trying to get the LPC1343 in Deep Power Down, but the current is still staying around 10 mA. To investigate further, I set the system clock on clockout pin. The systems stays active for around 3 seconds, running on IRC, and in deep power down for 5 secs using watchdog clock. I get IRC clock for 3 sec and Watchdog clock for 5 sec on the clockout pin. Should I be getting the clock in dee... LPC 13xx Deep Power Down

As many of you have seen, I've been working with an LPC2148 dev board trying to take advantage of the I2C lines to communicate with some I/O expanders. I was able to get one I2C line up and running and communicating without any issues, but now all of a sudden it's not working anymore. The problem seems to be that I'm not jumping into the ISR at all and I've got no idea why. Is there any way I ... LPC2148 ISR Problems

square wave generation   [13 Articles]

Hi, I am using LPC2368 to generate 16 square waves of independent frequency. The program works well in simulation but there are no square waves generated in hardware. UART0 is used to get values which determines frequency of each wave. Please help. I'll upload the program file named 4timers.c ------------------------------------ ... square wave generation

using adc10 dtc to sample all channels including temp sensor on msp430f2xxx   [2 Articles]

Hello, I want to read/sample all my channels one-go, using the ADC10 DTC, multi-channel single conversion. All but the internal temp sensor are external inputs. So i've set it up to try and it works, i get all my channels data at the end. But question about using temp sensor here: i have external reference for all other channels, so does it mean I cannot include it to my sequence-channel c... using adc10 dtc to sample all channels including temp sensor on msp430f2xxx

BL2100 Expansion headers (LCD) to add extra IOs   [8 Articles]

I was wondering one thing. We are thinking about making a small board to add on extra IOs and using it with the expansion headers on the BL2100. I can see from the dwg that there is PE7, A0-A3, and DB0-Db7. So it seems like I can not use this using AuxIO because the IO bus PA0-7 is not available at the header. Just curious if anyone has ever tried to add IOs (analog and digital) to this by a... BL2100 Expansion headers (LCD) to add extra IOs

Hi, I am a newbie started to work on lpc2148. Ive programmed a uart code for serial transmission of characters which i am successfully able to interpret in the hyper terminal window. Unfortunately when i plug in zigbee removing rs232 cable and try to send the characters i could not able to receive. pls help me what is the reason? ------------------------------------ ... zigbee wireless transmission

Market size of new, non-legacy, 5V ICs ?   [42 Articles]

Outside of the hobbyist ecosystem, what is the actual market size for new, non-legacy, ICs with a maximum Vcc of ~5V ? I've just picked up a few of the new Microchip 1Mbit SPI RAM ICs: http://uk.farnell.com/microchip/23lcv1024-i-p/sram-serial-1mbit-2-5-5-5v-8pdip/dp/2291921 and I was utterly amazed to see them available in this 5V capable packaging. This is a product range which until... Market size of new, non-legacy, 5V ICs ?

interrupting an I2C transaction with a UART interrupt using LPC2148   [7 Articles]

If during an I2C transaction (writing to a I2C display), I get a UART interrupt that has a possible I2C transaction itself (writing 2 bytes to I2C RAM), how do I handle that? Is the display transaction lost? Does the UART I2C transaction get locked because the display has control of the I2C bus just before the interrupt? Does the display's I2C transaction time out, drop the bus, and t... interrupting an I2C transaction with a UART interrupt using LPC2148
