MC9S12NE64 Wiped top 256 bytes of Flash - griglack - Apr 7 14:09:00 2005

I was adding code to erase and write a sector of flash, when I
accidentally erased the top 256 bytes of flash (0xff00 - 0xffff)
because I am working with multiple products/chipsets and thought the
NE64 had 256 byte sector instead of the 512 bytes it does. This
contains the memory map for the BDM. Now, I can no longer talk with
the board via the BDM and the P&E Micro Multilink USB cable.

I fail to believe that I am the first one to screw this up (so seldom
do we screw up in truly unique ways), so there has to be a proceedure
to restore things so that my multilink cable can talk to the board
again. Can you please tell me where I can find such a proceedure?

Thanks,
Jeff

In the process, you secured the device. Go to P&E's website
(www.pemicro.com) and download the free utility unsecure_12. This should
probably fix your problem.

I finally got back around to trying "unsecure_12" out. In the mean
time, I had just grabbed another proto board out of the box. It fixed
the problem for me. Thank you.
