Include file for DP512 - Alexandre Zambon - Apr 19 13:28:00 2005
Hi,
I am looking to upgrade our DJ256 CPU to DP512. Actually, we compile
our project with in including file named hcs12dp256.h . How can I find
an include file for HCS12DP512?
Regards,
Alexandre

Alexandre,
Which Compiler, which version of DP512? There are significant register
differences between version 1(mask set 0L40V) and version 2 (mask set 0L15Y).
Production is planned for version 2 only, so if you don't yet have the
parts, you will probably want version 2.
The major differences are in the XGATE registers, and the Memory Mapping
Control (MMC). They affect the size, bit assignments and locations of a
few registers.

Hi Steve, Hi Alexandre.
I just would like to warn about a possible confusion between MCS12XDP512
devices (mask 0L40V, 0L15Y) and MC9S12DP512 (0L00M to 4L00M) devices in
this thread.
Apparently, Alexandre was referring MC9S12DP512 (HCS12).

Gilles

Hi Steve,
the compiler is ICC12 of ImageCraft and the version of DP512 is (I
supposed is that you ask for) MCS912S12DP512 CPV 4LOOM OQAQQ44G.
Can you say me where I can find an .h file for this CPU?
Thank you,

Alexandre,
I don't have one for ICC12.
You should be able to use one for the MC9S12DP256.
The MC9S12DP256 and the MC9S12DP512 are essentially the same except for
memory size.
