IBDF value - cooltronics - Sep 7 19:28:00 2005

Hi,

I am running a HCS12DJ64 at 40MHz (using PLL) so that gives a bus
clock of 20Mhz. The smart battery which I want to communicate with on
the I2C bus (using the SMBus protocol) can take only upto 80Khz. Now,
the division of 20Mhz by 80Khz gives 250 which is no where in the look
up table. Can I take the nearest value like 256?

Thanks
Nihar
