Can SPI read a 16 bits data set? - ly_haw - Nov 15 4:03:06 2007

Hi,

I am using 9S12DP256 microcontroller for my school project. In this
project, I need to read a 16 bits SPI data from a device. As I know,
the microcontroller SPI data register is 8 bits. So is it possible to
read a 16 bits data, and how??

Thanks for any reply,,..
