I am also using ICC12 for the programming.

I would guess that you probably secured the device.

in the ICC12 programmer is the card detected? if yes have you configured =
baud rate? if no have you insatelled the data coverter cable (USB to RS232)=

Sorry about the late reply have been away for a couple of weeks

I don't think i have secured the device. i actually have no idea how
to do it

I have used the same program many times with the same settings. i have
also used the same USB to Serial converter many times and have never
had this happen.

is there any command that i can send to the device to stop it or
return it to normal operation.
