i want to know the initialisation steps of mc9s12dj256b when use it for eeprom writing
i am using the following code,

// Mode Selected is Normal Expanded Wide Mode
MODE = 0xE0;

// set the PEAR for overlaying EEPROM as RAM
PEAR = 0x8C;

//enable the Flash EEPROM or ROM memory in the memory map.
MISC = 0x03;//$$03 to 01 for EEProm testing

and eeprom registers initialisation.

is it enough for my eeprom writing.if anyone have the details
please share with me
