Hi Greg,
Thank you very much!
I do have a few questions though, (and it stems from me being a novice at programming)..
Your mention of a query has me thinking.. do i absolutely need a query from the laptop?
can I not just have information sent to the laptop every time there is a data string sent
from the GPS? ..and also if a query is the only way (or the best way) to go, would i need
to rewrite the lat/long coordinates on the second buffer every time information is sent
from the GPS until the query is made? ..and would you have any codes to illustrate the
programming procedure for creating a buffer and overwriting it until an event occurs??
Thanks a lot, I'm very sorry about so many questions..
best regards,
Mukul

Hello Mukul;
Because of the unknown relationship between the
filling from the GPS and the query from the laptop
you will need a double buffer. This second buffer
will be updated immediately after the GPS sends
its data and will supply the LAT /LON to the laptop.
