CAN or RS232 Bootloader for MC9S12DJ128 ? - lwantaik - Sep 9 6:04:58 2009

Hi.

I'm looking at the Bootloader source for mc9s12dj128.

I'm using Codeworrior V3.1. and P&E usb multilink.

I'm a new engineer (freshman) and really don't know about the bootloader prodcedure.

I couldn't understand through some datasheet.(ex. AN2546...)

Please, Would you mind helping me? I'd like to know bootloader.

Thank you in advance

AN2548 might be a better place to start. The Serial Monitor is supported by CodeWarrior, and the App Note explains the concepts very well. The bootloader you referred to is more of a production tool for loading code into blank flash in a production-line environment. But I guess it all depends on what you are trying to accomplish...
