Hi Gary The protocol I am implementing (www.milcan.org) requres that "re-transmsion on error is turned off", so as to maintain time-determined messaging (if an error occurs then the message cannot be re-tried else the time scheduling will be messed up) Controllers such as the intel 257 have a flag for transmision error, just wondered why i couldnt see one on mscan, and if there isnt one, is it possibel to derrive the errro form those flages present.... comments gratefully recieved Tony [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |

There is a transmission error flag in msCAN, but I don't think it does what you want. I did find it in Motorola's msCAN reference document.
