DP256 vectors - flashing - Lewis, Bob - Aug 13 10:01:00 2002

Has anyone a program or way to flash the vector page on the DP256? I
understand that Debug 12 will flash the EEPROM but to do so you need to get
it loaded into EEPROM (or would RAM work?), and I can not find a program
that will do the flash. StarProg is releasing an update as is NOICE, but
that is about 2 weeks away as far as I know.

MinIDE flashed the dg128a, could that be used for the DP256 or would that
damage the part given the flash algorithm seems to have changed?

Thank you.

Bob Lewis

you could download my HC12ICD - Demo software hc12icd_b.zip from
http://www.krummsdorf.de/hc12icd/downlo_e.html
and try it with your ComPod12 if your EVB256 is running at 16 MHz Extal.
There are a few limitations in the demo, but it can flash the records
from ICC12
and debug the DP256.
Pls email me privately, so I can give you some advise.

Best Regards,
J.K.
