SCI and Flash of Adapt9S12DP256 Evaluation Board - shakilhossain2000 - Sep 12 18:09:00 2004

Hello.

My name is Shakil Hossain. I am a Electrical Engineering student at
Western Michigan University. While learning to program the flash of
the Adapt9S12DP256 Evaluation Board from Technological Arts I ran
into a rather sticky problem.

I have been downloading programs to the flash and getting the
controller to do what I want until the last program I downloaded. I
may have damaged bootloader somehow.

After the last write to the flash, I changed the jumber setting to
run bootloader and write a new program to the flash. Unofortunately,
the bootloader does not run anymore. Instead my downloaded program
executes! Have tried it with two different boards with the same
result.

Any ideas what the problem may be?
Is there any way I can try to restore Bootloader through the BDM or
hyperterminal?

Thanks for the help ahead of time.

Sincerely,
Shakil Hossain.

FYI:
ICC 12 used to develop code in C
NoICE used to debug program
cvts19 file downloaded to flash using heperterminal
