Gentlemen, If I remember right, the 9S12DP256B was supposed to have the SCI odd-number-of-interrupts bug fixed, but now there is a new errata sheet for the part that says it is still a problem. Am I remembering right? Mike |

Hello, NO, there are: 1) MC9S12DP256B, mask set 1K79X (SCI bug MUCts00510 available, not fixed) http://www.freescale.com/webapp/sps/site/prod_summary.jsp? code=MC9S12DP256B http://www.freescale.com/files/microcontrollers/doc/errata/MSE9S12DP25 6B_1K79X.pdf 2) MC9S12DP256C, mask set 2K79X (SCI bug MUCts00510 fixed) http://www.freescale.com/files/microcontrollers/doc/errata/MSE9S12DP25 6C_2K79X.pdf 3) MC9S12DT256, mask sets 3L91N,4L91N, ... (SCI bug MUCts00510 fixed) - this microcontroller is recommended for the new designs! http://www.freescale.com/webapp/sps/site/prod_summary.jsp? code=MC9S12DT256 Jasa --- In , "Michael Huslig" <mhuslig@k...> wrote: > Gentlemen, > > If I remember right, the 9S12DP256B was supposed to have the SCI > odd-number-of-interrupts bug fixed, but now there is a new errata sheet for > the part that says it is still a problem. You are right. But there's not a new errata sheet. It is the same one for specific mask sets. --- In , "Michael Huslig" <mhuslig@k...> wrote: > Gentlemen, > > If I remember right, the 9S12DP256B was supposed to have the SCI > odd-number-of-interrupts bug fixed, but now there is a new errata sheet for > the part that says it is still a problem. But the DP256C is still not listed among the HCS12s at the regular freescale site. ----- Original Message ----- From: "jasa.rm" <> To: <> Sent: Tuesday, February 01, 2005 8:59 AM Subject: [68HC12] Re: dp256b errata > > > Hello, > > NO, there are: > > 1) MC9S12DP256B, mask set 1K79X (SCI bug MUCts00510 available, not > fixed) > http://www.freescale.com/webapp/sps/site/prod_summary.jsp? > code=MC9S12DP256B > > http://www.freescale.com/files/microcontrollers/doc/errata/MSE9S12DP25 > 6B_1K79X.pdf > > 2) MC9S12DP256C, mask set 2K79X (SCI bug MUCts00510 fixed) > > http://www.freescale.com/files/microcontrollers/doc/errata/MSE9S12DP25 > 6C_2K79X.pdf > > 3) MC9S12DT256, mask sets 3L91N,4L91N, ...
