I checked what you said, and yes I am getting PIT interrupts (which is usin=
g sys interrupt as well).
When I don't initialize PIT, there are no problems. But I am disabling the =
SYS interrupts of AIC at the beginning of sys_interrupt_handler, and re-ena=
bling at the end.
Shouldn't that solve the problem?

I dont know the processor u use..but mostly the debug
port gets used on the sys interrupt..and something you
need to check is if this interrupt is getting disable
during the printf..
the printf uses the runtime library ,so I would
suggest to use selfmade debug print statement to be
able to debug during the print operation..(that is
transferring to the debug UART port )

I suppose that should help..i had lot of troubles with
the sys interrupt and the debug port..and thankfully
now they dont bug me.
