Subject: Is the graph of speed vs power for five
brands of ARM7 available? (Courtesy: "Jean Pierre";
user name - jeanpierrepoulin")
Hi,
"jeanpierrepoulin" has written in an email to
A...@yahoogroups.com on 09 Nov 2006 the following:
"have put together a graph of speed vs power for five
brands of ARM7 MCUs. Atmel and Philips seem to have
about the same curve. The ADuC parts have a higher
quiescent with roughly the same slope. The STMicro
parts are high power consumption with a quiescent
power equal to the SAM7S parts full power. The
Luminary Micro Stelaris parts are not fully
characterized yet, but with a 2.5 volt core they are
by far the highest of this group. I did not evaluate
the Oki, TI or any ARM parts from Motorola
(Freescale). I know the TI parts are very high
power as are the Motorola parts. The OKI parts are not
low, and I don't care for them much myself.
I uploaded a PDF copy of the chart to the files
section. It might be worth a look. "
Is this PDF file made by Jean Pierre available on
www.embeddedrelated.com (I couldnt see a files
section)? Or is it available anywhere in the site of
AT91SAM yahoogroups? Would be great if somebody can
give a tip.
Thanks.
