For users of the Atmel AT91SAM7 and AT91SAM9 ARM CPU chips. Atmel has taken a new direction by combining on chip flash and ram with the ARM CPU on a single die. Has anyone stretched the limits of what an AT91SAM7X256 can do as far
as the PLL and processor clock?
In the latest data sheet from Atmel, they clearly state that the
processor will run at up to 55 Mhz, but the PLL will go all the way to
200Mhz
