For users of the Atmel AT91SAM7 and AT91SAM9 ARM CPU chips. Atmel has taken a new direction by combining on chip flash and ram with the ARM CPU on a single die. After being told that it wasn't possible, in the 2.6.27.7 kernel I saw
that the MMC drivers can apparently use SPI. I've tried enabling this
and loading the appropriate modules on an AT91SAM9261EK, ie:
modprobe mmc_core
modprobe mmc_block
modprobe at91_mci
But at that last one I get:
modprobe: Failed to load module at91_mci: No such device.
Anyone managed to do this?
