For users of the Atmel AT91SAM7 and AT91SAM9 ARM CPU chips. Atmel has taken a new direction by combining on chip flash and ram with the ARM CPU on a single die. This provides low cost devices for small systems using the ARM CPU. This group is to exchange information to help users get started and learn how to use the devices.

I have connected on "Timer/Counter Channel 0" port A a rpm sensor (square signal every spark) and a speed sensor (square signal every axle rotation). Now my question is: is possible to make measurements independently on A and B channel or not? Or I have to change my hardware layout? If I have understand well I can make diffrent measurements, and Register A is loaded with "TC Counter Value register(TC_CV)" as is Register B, but if I want a new count i have to reset TC_CV and this affect Register A and B at the same time.
So if I reset TC_CV for Register A my register B value will be wrong and vice versa for Register A if i reset TC_CV for register B.

Is it right?

Best regards
