Find help, specifications and source code for the LPC900. The LPC900 challenges Microchip and AVR based on the worlds most popular 8-bit architecture the 80C51. With a 2-clock core the LPC900 series is a high performance, very flexible and low cost 8-bit microcontroller family. Designers using or interested in these devices are encouraged to share their know-how and ask questions.
ICP with LPC936 - maciej_wiatr - Dec 25 17:01:00 2005
All,
application note 10258 'How to use the LPC900 In-circuit programming
(ICP)' shows the configuration of PCL and PDA pins for LPC935 to be at
p0.5 and p0.4, repectively. LPC936 is not mentioned in the documentation.
Could anyone confirm, that the pins are at the same ports for LPC936, too?
Thanks a lot,
Maciej

The LPC936 utilizes the P05 and P06 pins for ICP indeed. I've already
programmed over a hundred devices this way.

Gertjan,
which of the two you mentioned is what?
For LPC935:
PDA - p0.4
PCL - p0.5
For LPC936:
PDA - ...
PCL - ...
p0.5? p0.6?
Can you point me to an internet document?
Thanks,
Maciej

LPC936 is fully pin-compatible with LPC935.
As far as I know this is not documented.

Gertjan,
you wrote in your former mail that P05 and P06 were used... for LPC935
it is P04 and P05... I suppose you meant P04 and P05, right?
Thanks,
Maciej

You're right, P04 and P05 it is indeed. Sorry about that.
