Find help, specifications and source code for the LPC900. The LPC900 challenges Microchip and AVR based on the worlds most popular 8-bit architecture the 80C51. With a 2-clock core the LPC900 series is a high performance, very flexible and low cost 8-bit microcontroller family. Designers using or interested in these devices are encouraged to share their know-how and ask questions.
RE: Digest Number 16 - Hitesh Mahant - Oct 9 22:49:00 2004
Hi all,
As I wanted to try LPCxxx, for some simple applications. I enquired for
MCB900EB. I got offer for INR.6500/- (almost U$150.00) for such a small
board.
So I decised to make one on my own, and successfully made one. It works
with RESET pulse method. As ISP method is used by only LPC932, and most
of them use ICP; I am trying to implement ICP also on that.

Hitesh Mahant

Anyone had any luck getting the mcb900 evaluation board to work under
Linux?

Hello Hitesh,
I don't know who offered the MCB900 @ almost $150 to you because it is
listed for $59 from Philips, Keil and www.lpctools.com
So, congratulations to a functional board.
Cheers Bob

I've implemented the ICP programming on LPC9xx family: I've developed a
"LPC9xx Programmer" using ICP.
Philips do not provide the ICP specifications on the philips web site, but
I've found them here:
http://www.promax.no/download/data/Semi/Philips/Micro_controller/lpc90x/
There is the original philips ISP to ICP bridge source code, too!

Thanks Fausto,
I havedownloaded your recoms. I will go through very soon, but I am sure
it will be useful. Because NET help groups havenever disappointed me.
Techies on net are always helpful to each other.
Thanks again.
Bob, at present it’s a crude board which can only 'program' an LPC932
but on target board.
