Find help, specifications and source code for the LPC900. The LPC900 challenges Microchip and AVR based on the worlds most popular 8-bit architecture the 80C51. With a 2-clock core the LPC900 series is a high performance, very flexible and low cost 8-bit microcontroller family. Designers using or interested in these devices are encouraged to share their know-how and ask questions.
LPC932 in PLCC/TSSOP - Hitesh Mahant - Oct 22 22:54:00 2004
Hi all,
As I wrote before, I am using a self-made programmer. Due to an error on
PCB-assembly, I applied 5V to VDD of PLCs I tried to program a mix of
PLCC & TSSOP chips. None got programmed.
Then I could guess what's going on. I corrected my programmer fault.
Retried to program those chips. TSSOP chips are still no getting
programmed, while PLCC did got!
Have the TSSOP chips failed? If they have same die-chip inside both
should have failed.
Hope, should not face problem again.
With warm regards.
Yours truly,
Hitesh Mahant

Well,
don't really know what went wrong but I can absoltely assure you that
the die inside the PLCC28 is absolutely the same as in the TSSOP28.
You should use the LPC932-A1 in any case for any new designs.

Hi,
Does the 5V to VDD had created problem of burning away the chips?
Anyway I still have to analyzr wether realy chips gone BAD or not.
