  “Y’ know, I’ve met  Senator Thompson personally, as Tennessee is just next door and he comes to Mississippi quite often. He’s a good friend of Morgan Freeman also.  I’ve had occasion to meet and chat with “Fred,” (as he prefers to be addressed), and you know what.? 
          The guy is 100% REAL!  His common sense approach IS NOT a joke.   And.., although he may be seemingly ‘satirizing’ this little “parable of  our poor position in the financial world,” remember the old quote:  “Many a truth, is said in jest.”
