Find help, specifications and source code for the LPC900. The LPC900 challenges Microchip and AVR based on the worlds most popular 8-bit architecture the 80C51. With a 2-clock core the LPC900 series is a high performance, very flexible and low cost 8-bit microcontroller family. Designers using or interested in these devices are encouraged to share their know-how and ask questions.
ICP Programmer Options - grantpbt - Jan 21 13:21:00 2005
I can't recall if I mentioned it earlier or not, but there are two
working ICP programmers that can be purchased:
1. Acqura PDS900 ICE. You can adapt their programmer daughterboard
to do ICP programmer for all chips that support ICP. I have tested
it with 932A1 and 935 and it works as advertised. You need to use
the BETA version of the software though, as they have not included
the generic ICP code into the main release stream yet. The beta
release has a nice ICP app note PDF included in it.
2. Elnec says that three of their products, as of v2.10, support
ICP. I have not tested this one.
I am aware of no others, but have contacted every single one of the
vendors on the Philips tool page that claim support for LPC.
I also don't have much confidence in the ISP-ICP bridge app notes 1
and 2 from Philips. They appear to work poorly, if at all. If
anyone has had better experience with the bridge, I'd love to hear
about it.

I have it working.
It was an hard job, because Philips specs were bugged and also the ICP/ISP
bridge source available up to a few days ago was very bugged.
But I've found all the bugs and now I have my own custom "ISP-ICP bridge"
LPC900 programmer working. It is based on an LPC764 microcontroller, because
I developed the hardware, too.
I developed a VB6 client software to test it, too, and it works.
And it works also with FlashMagic.
Note: I'm talking about my version of firmware: I don't know if the latest 1.4
sources recently released in the documents section does work.
