hi
i a new member of yhis club.
i use atmega162i used OCR1A as the top of timer 1 and i should update it during run timr.
the datasheet of atmega162 says that:
"the OCRnx register is double buffered.double buffering stnchronizes the update of OCRnx register to either TOP or BOTTOM of counting sequence"
what does it mean?OCR1A updates as right as we change the OCR1A value or it updates when the timer reaches to TOP OR bottom for the first time after we change the value of OCR1A?
and if the second one is true,what is the top value for the timer when it reaches to the top for the first time,the new value of OCR1A or the old one?
would you help me with this problem please?
