Hi guys......
I am trying to program the IR receiver n transmitter using
ATmega162 microcontroller. But I couldn't understand how 2 start. Can
anyone plz suggest me how 2 do that (in steps)........

Which compiler are you using for programming AVR?

Thx 4 ur reply. It seems U know a lot, so U can help me out. I'm trying 4 the Micromouse project. N my problem is that I couldn't understand a thing abt the IR thing. Well the logic is that, the IR transmitter will send the signal which will be received by the IR receiver. Well the theory is gud enough 2 understand.
But actually I want 2 see how it works, n that a sample program is required 2 test the sensors. Well I searched the net a lot of times. But due 2 my bad luck or what god knows I got nothing. I need only a sample prog. 4 IR, like the programs provided by Bibin John 4 motors, LED's etc...
N I'm using ATmega162 n WinAVR compiler. Think U can help. So as soon as possible plz help me........... Its really urgent......
