[AVR club] New to AVR Need Info about .... - "Bill P." - Mar 8 16:03:29 2007

Hi, I'm new to the AVR and have read about half of the postings on this
forum to catch up on issues. I'm an old mainframer with assembler and
high level coding experience but obviously weak in todays tech.
Projects of interest are just about anything that will control a motor
or read voltage.

Question: I'm armed with hundreds of AVR links and documents off the
web now but it seems to me one of the best examples for programming is
the code delivered in the AVR butterfly .... maybe in the myriad of
samples I've collected I overlooked the original source code for the
application in the factory stock Butterfly, can anyone point out its
location for me. Also, when I begin programming, for practice I'd like
to reload the original code to see if it still works.

The wealth of information and neat motor controllers is overwhelming,
I'd like to sense the position of the sun to aim my little solar panel
and monitor battery voltage and panel curren. I have 4 old electric
screw drivers so motors and gears are on the bench and ready.

Thanks in advance .... Bill k6acj AVR Butterfly
