Re: [AVR club] Digest Number 39 - Binny Raphael - Oct 11 6:33:00 2002
Hi:
Please find attached the Schematic and PCB layout for a "General Purpose
AT90S8515 Prototype/ Development Board" (in EAGLE Light Edition
http://www.cadsoft.de/freeware.htm) which I use for small projects. However
please note that I have not yet tested the working of the 32KB external RAM.
I have been using the board without the RAM and the 74573 and it works fine
for me.
I had developed this board so that I can try to interface it to an IDE HDD
and try running uc/COS RTOS on it. I can let you know when this is done.
This board can take any AVR IC which is pin compatible with AT90S8515 ( like
other AVR 16K or 32K flash version).
The board can be programmed via serial port (easier option..only require a
serial cable.... pl see the PonyProg site for cabel details) or thru AVR ISP
(STK200/300) parallel port interface (you will require the dongle i.e. the
programming ckt) and I have tested it with PonyProg
(http://www.lancos.com/prog.html), Codevision, Imagecraft and ATMEL AVR
Studio(via STK200/300).
Please have a look at
http://www.avrfreaks.net/phorum/read.php?f=3&i=18307&t=18307#18307
for more detail.
Thanks and Regards
Binny Raphael
