hello sir,
i am a engg student in Bhubaneswar and currently in the 5th sem. and using avr16 as the microcontroller.

i have installed the avrstudio4.14 but when i am starting a new project then it is giving the error that

"no compiler/assembler installed"
sir plz help me .. How to get rid of it??

Can you give some details of the computer and the platform you're using?

Did you install c compiler (GNU C or any other comiler seperately). give more details as how you have created project etc..VS

It shouldn't matter ... AVR Studio comes with the AVR assembler and it
should've at least detected that.

I would try completely uninstalling it, back up any projects you have
created that may still be there and then remove all remaining files in the
Atmel directory (if still there) and try a new fresh install.

I had one laptop I just couldn't get AVR Studio to run on at all. I
reinstalled it about 10 times with the same problem each time. It worked
fine on other machines. I just gave up on that and eventualy got rid of
the machine, anyway. But if it's run on the same machine before, something
must've gotten in crosswise on the install.

Pls download it from Atmel website and install it, since i a=
m working as an FAE for Atmel . I never face such problem.
