Has anyone had good luck with the SRF08? I have mine working, and I am pretty sure it is working properly. I get a decent reading for the first echo, the the subsequent echoes do not seem to represent real objects. Essentially I get echoes every 25 inches no matter what it is aimed at. I can hold it in the corner of the room aiming into nothing f

I downloaded Microsoft's Beta of its newest Visual Basic, but have begun to have doubts about it being optimal for learning to program the BX-24 and related family. Is Visual Basic V6.0 the best for this? Or does this really matter? Is there a best book to introduce Visual Basic programing?

Hi all, I have been programming in basic for years and been using Parallax BS2 for a year. I decided to move to the BX-24 as it is obviously a better performer for the money. Has anyone used a MMC card on a BX-24? I am trying to do it. I have found that I can not use the built-in SPI functions because I need to keep the Card-Select selected over a bunch of transfers, and when the CS is deselected, apparently the transaction in progress is lost. So, I used Tom Handy's bit-banged SPI routines. THANKS TOM! and I

I have been asked to convert some +/- 10V sensor signals to 0 - +5 volt for use with a Basicx 24. Is there a way to do this without using a 3rd party signal conditioning board? I've been shown a simple schematic that uses a resistor network to do this but I don't see how it works. Any help will be greatly appreciated. TIA, Paul Dubinsky
