I have just bought an ADXL202 accelerometer. I bought it because I saw that there is an example application for the BX-24 for this accelerometer. But in the application note I can see that the ADXL202 evaluation board is used. Does anyone have experience with using the ADXL202 without the evaluation board? What filter capacitors should be used? What resistor value should be used for the right T2 (period of PWM signal)? Or does it matter - I can see that there is a function in the code, getPeriod. /Lars |

I use 0.47uF caps and 1 1Mohm Rset. Gives me good results off human body movements, but might be slow for automotive use or other fast vibrations. The hard part without the eval board is soldering the things. On Jun 8, 2004, at 7:24 AM, larzyharzy wrote: > I have just bought an ADXL202 accelerometer. Hey Lars, Where did you buy ADXL202? Can you help me find a dealer of ADXL202 in the internet? I also need it. rsvp Tom Igoe <> wrote: I use 0.47uF caps and 1 1Mohm Rset. Digikey has them, but Analog will also give you limited samples.

What? They can be ordered direct at the Analog web site for some $16 a piece. There is also a cheaper alternative at $9 which only has analogue outputs, which you can read with an A/D converter.
