MIDI findings & more questions. - robertguyser - Nov 10 23:47:00 2002

So, i had easy success translating some BX24 code to the BX35. Before
i describe that effort for others to learn from, I have a question..
a good one i think...

BX24ers can help too. the code IS almost the same.. Just gotta get
over some tricky spots...

HOW do you send multiple notes at once? I want poliphony!!! Just 8
Notes or 6......

At this point, I have a sperate input pin of the BX35 used for
reading each of 12 switches that are intended to be 1 octave of a
keyboard.

I am going to check into keyboard decoder chips.. those multiplexer
chips... any suggestions? How do those chips handle multiple key
presses?

Thanks.

robert
