9 Volt Motor control - David E. Basile - Nov 14 7:45:00 2002

A friend of mine gave me one of those Singing Reindeer but the main board
was toasted. It has 3 motors that control the mouth, eyes and ears. Each
of these motors are attached to some sort of gear box and seem to be spring
loaded. If I apply 9 volts to the eye motor the eyes open and once power is
removed the eyes slowly close. This works the same on all 3 motors.

I plan on converting this for my daughters school. What would be the best
way to control the three motors and use the least amount of space. Also is
it possible with the BX24 to sample a small audio signal and use that to
control the mouth motor?

Thanks.
David
