EEPROM error - Christian Wentz - Sep 27 13:54:00 2003

I just got my BX-24 a few days ago, and the original factory program ran on
powerup as usual, however when i downloaded the hello_world program i got an
internal EEPROM error, "length error". Any ideas on how to solve this? here
is the download window text, if it helps:
*** Downloading File

Writing internal EEPROM
Write failed
Writing external EEPROM
Verifying external EEPROM
Verify OK

*** Download Error

There may indeed be something wrong with the BX24, but it is more
probably something with the COM port settings.

You might use the Control Panel, Properties of the COM Port, Advanced
and turn off the FIFO buffers. You might also fool with the flow control.

I sometimes see this in my student lab, but it tends to be a transient
thing. The student tries again and all is well.

Hope this helps.
