I don't know any of the technical details about the SitePlayer. However, it seems to me that if the drivers that you show are necessary for compute<-->SitePlayer communication and they're not needed for computer<-->BX24 communition then it stands to reason that they will be needed for BX24<-->SitePlayer communication. If not, what am I missing? Don |

> ... Take a look at the picture named bx24essais in the photos section... I haven't worked with SitePlayer for awhile but, if I recall, it's RS232 is inverted; BX-24's RS232 is not inverted. If that is correct, your switch scheme will not work. The inverters should only handle SitePlayer data. You also do a wire-OR on the output of one of those inverters; I also doubt that will work since the inverter output driver is probably a totem-pole, not open collector; and, if it is an open collector output, a pullup is missing. You might try asking if this or something similar has been done on the SitePlayer group: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/siteplayer/.
