Suggestions for MIDI wireless data transmission - wurlitzer28 - Jan 31 8:46:00 2006

I need to transmit MIDI data @ ~32000 baud from a BasicX-24 over a
distance of ~20 feet (could be line of sight if needed). I would prefer
not to have to modulate/demodulate a carrier unless it can be done very
inexpensivly.

The X-24 is already running fine at close to the proper MIDI baud rate
so I was thinking of IR but I am willing to entertain other ideas.

I would appreciate any low cost suggestions.

Thanks in advance,
Craig
