I suggest you to download LCD_I2C.zip file from Files > Datasheets-
Appnotes-Examples-Drawings > LCD folder. It has a few sets of I2C
Subprograms that can be re-used in any project. If you do not use
interruptions or multitaskibg in your project, you should use
the "plain" version (i.e. the one that does not use semaphores).
