Feedback loop Control system - ricinecwh - Nov 14 12:13:11 2006

There are few question I would like to ask..
1. Can I find the gain of the system without any modeling?

2. Without any delay in the program, how long will be the basic-x to
execute the program for one time?

3. Is there any method to get the data in the basic-X for graph-
plotting? {it is very annoying for plotting graph by hand.}

thank you

You need either to have a theoretical model for the plant+sensor or do
the experimental system identification. Without knowing what your
system is, it's tough to say which is easier. Typically, if you have
a small rigid mechanical system (without a lot of backlash etc), you
have a chance of predicting the transfer function theoretically. But
for thermal systems, it's very difficult to predict a transfer
function.
