RE MEASURING CURRENT - "BOYD S.(SPENCE) MINER" - Apr 22 11:55:26 2007

EXCUSE THE CAPS. MUCH EASIER FOR ME.

A VERY BIG CAUTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IF YOU USE A CURRENT TRANSFORMER OR TOROIDAL TRANSFORMER, BE SURE TO HAVE A
RESISTIVE LOAD ON THE SECONDARY AT ALL TIMES. WITHOUT IT, YOU HAVE THE
POSSIBILITY OF EXTREME HIGH VOLTAGE...................

CAN EVEN CAUSE ARCING TO OTHER COMPONENTS.

Thanks for the heads up, Spence. (And don't woory about the CAPS -
we're all headed there.)

And thanks to all for the suggestions. I've order a CR Magnetics
device to play with. I'll let you know how it goes.

Thx again,
Paul
