Unable to halt the basic x...help pls? - vergelbv2000 - Oct 4 17:57:45 2007

hi,
i'm getting the error "unable to halt the basic x" because i'm not
using a develpmental board...don't have a reset button...i was
wondering how to use the reset pin 22 on the basic x? or what's the
next best thing to do?

CHeers,

Ken
(and I think you're right - why read the documentation when you just
post to a list?)

I suspect you haven't received an answer to this because the question
suggests that you haven't read the documentation, or looked at a
processor or board schematic, or searched the messages in the archive
here - any of which will provide an answer that you might find helpful.

Put a switch - just a momentary switch, or a removable jumper -
between pin22 and ground (pin23 or pin4). Ground pin22, then remove
the ground to restart the processor.
