If and when you find that source, please don't tell the rest of us, aslearning by doing
as much of the research as possible on your own is muchmore rewarding than someone just
handing you the solution.Del Tapparo _____ From: b...@yahoogroups.com

I am truly interested in where these questions come from and why. It
certainly appears to be from a student - but a student of what, from where?
In my town the _middle_ schools offer an industrial intro that includes
a little about microprocessors, and the kids get some lab time. In
other groups I see questions of character that might be expected from
such a student - but, under some pressure, one recent writer of a series
of unintelligible collections of words with a question mark at the end
claimed he was an _Egyptian engineering professor_, without mentioning
specifically where, or the school name. Truly incredible (read:
unbelievable), or pathetically sad.
I really want to know if such a question comes from an instructor who is
a day ahead of the curriculum, or from a student that is directed by his
professor to learn on our backs, not from his classroom. And, to be
honest, I think my questions might of had some cynicism in them, even at
my hand, for which I apologize. Still, I'd like to know what causes
these spurts of newbie questions three times a year.
Tom
