Hi everyone,
I tried to use a USB-Serial adapter to download the "Hello World" Program to my BX24. I
used a Serial Socket manually soldered to the wires connecting to PIN1-4 to connect with
the adapter, I grounded PIN5 and PIN23, and supplied 6V to PIN24. However, when I 'compile
and run', the following error message appears about a pause:
writing to internal EEPROM
varifying internal EEPROM
varify failed
writing to external EEPROM
varifying external EEPROM
varify failed, retry
varify failed
Please kindly give a hint, thank you much in advance!

Hi,
I have one USB to serial that I wired as the BX 24 recommended in the BX24 Hardware
Reference page 16. Then down load the BX 24 USB driver? PL-2300 Driver from Netmedia site.
Loaded it in the system and plug your USB and powered it to see if the system recognize
your USB. Check in the system which port the system assign to your USB. Open the editor
-select the I/O port and select the port number assigned by the system. you should? see
the message? from the micro.
Hope this will help you.
regards,
rosarite
