I have been trying to convince Netmedia (and the rest of the group) that we needed an "OEM downloader" for at least a year, so I was filled with joy when I heard that it was finally comming. I have been manufacturing a commercial product based on the BX01 for about 2 years now and since some of my customers are half a world away, software updates have been a nightmare. Imagine my disappointment when I found that the downloader was for the BX24 only. Please, Netmedia, don't leave all of the BX01 users out in the cold on this one. Vic Gates |

From: <> > [...] > Imagine my disappointment when I found that the downloader > was for the BX24 only. [...] This is only temporary. For BX-01 downloading we use a 3rd party DLL for the parallel port driver, which makes installation a bit more complicated, especially for NT. We thought it was better to release at least a BX-24 beta downloader now, in order to get feedback, rather than wait for the device driver to get nailed down. -- Frank Manning -- NetMedia, Inc. |

Thanks for the reply Frank. At least I know there is hope for a BX01 version of the downloader :) --- In basicx@y..., "Frank Manning" <fmanning@n...> wrote: > From: <vicgates@h...> > > > [...] > > Imagine my disappointment when I found that the downloader > > was for the BX24 only.
