hi,
I am a new comer to this field of fpga(i.e i dont have any practical experience). I have started reading about boundary scan technique...could anyone please give website links etc which give the complete functioning of JTAG.

FYI, this group is not meant to discuss just the details of FPGA. U should probably try to join the groups such as or
http://www.fpga-faq.com/ the COMP.ARCH.FPGA group.
They will be able to get u good information on FPGA and related stuff.

Hope this doesnt't disappoint U. For JTAG u r study should focus on the
Brief General overview of technology and then detailed study JTAG support in the Vendor and FPGA family of interest. Following links would help.
