This list is for discussion of the design and implementation of field-programmable gate array based processors and integrated systems. It is also for discussion and community support of the XSOC Project (see http://www.fpgacpu.org/xsoc).

Hello Everybody I am Tobias, Student and Inventor I was just about researching Open FPGA CPU Cores when I found this list on http://www.fpgacpu.org/. Its besides the point that I have for long been thinking about a Cubic virtual 3D Linear Memory Mapped Parallel Processing Architecture and the need for a Compiler mapping Object Interaction Interfaces onto the Surfaces between (virtually) neighboring ĮPUs... I have as well been investigating another exciting application for almost a Year now and I would like to invite any interested Specialists of this group to also come around and Help Actively on the new Group I initiated a few days ago (Feb19) as: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/GoBox It's a very Ambitious Project that has this public description: ================================ The GoBox is a set of electronic subassemblies to control the Motor functions of Experimental Vehicles. The current designs are grouped in 3 categories: A Logic Module (LM), One or more Sensing Modules (SM), One or more Power Modules (PM). The Specification describes the components starting from their interfaces (Connectors). Programs and Logic (Microcontroller and FPGA) by definition use translatable High Level Languages (C++, Java, VHDL) to prevent to be 'Architecture-locked'. The component designs and programs are released under a Hardware Open Source License. The Watercar Group is our nontechnical Base Group. Join the GoBox Group if you want to be a part of the development of the described hardware platform - regardless of your application of this technology. While a large part of the attention will be on the electrodynamic control of the Hydrolysis, there will also be provisions to drive and control other aspects such as injectors or ignition systems. ================================ For those that don't know what "Watercar Group" may be referring to : http://groups.yahoo.com/group/watercar/ We are researching and experimenting technologies that use Water and Hydrolysis Products to reduce or replace Petrol as combustible in Internal Combustion Engines. I know it sounds to good to be true to run a Vehicle on Water, but hey Jesus Walked on Water too :) Seriously You don't have to trust that its possible to run a car on nothing but water, but consider it a fact that incredible amounts of Fuel Savings are Possible! Anyhow I'll be around - I am eying the possibility to not need a dedicated CPU on the Logic Module but I am not sure how easy it will be for us to adopt the High Skills Professed on this Group! I'd be delighted to receive any kind of comment! Cheers Tobias |
