Discussion Groups | FPGA-CPU | A new PDA, totally configurable

This list is for discussion of the design and implementation of field-programmable gate array based processors and integrated systems. It is also for discussion and community support of the XSOC Project (see http://www.fpgacpu.org/xsoc).

A new PDA, totally configurable - armanddestouches - Jul 13 5:30:00 2004

A new PDA has been released : http://www.jackito-pda.com

It has really new features, for a PDA :
- 7 parallel processors
- low-power, low frequency processing
- a wide range of connectors
- a brand new architecture

on http://www.jackito-pda.com/hardware/innovations.php :
Upgradeable firmware (FPGA)
Jackito contains a large FPGA chip (integrated logic circuit), of
the type commonly found on mainframe servers. Specialized parallel
processors can be created and updated in this FPGA at any time and
within 0.03 seconds.
==> do you imagine a PDA that you could reconfigure, recreate,
update, etc where you want, for what you want ?

Hope this will please to you !
