This list is for discussion of the design and implementation of field-programmable gate array based processors and integrated systems. It is also for discussion and community support of the XSOC Project (see http://www.fpgacpu.org/xsoc).

I got it working !!!! An SoC with cpu, video controller, uart, and a few other peripherals. The cpu is similar in concept to the gr0040's. The full featured 32 bit cpu is only 620 LUTs! The ram access is pipelined for performance. Runs at 28.636MHz ! Powers up, displays a message then jumps to a serial download routine (downloader works too!) Video controller supports text and graphics modes. Now to port a full screen editor, and some version of BASIC ! Plus add sprite graphics and sound. I've only used about 25% of the FPGA so far !
