Greetings all and happy hollidays ! Regarding a development board.... we must remind you that building you own prototype is still a realistic option.. minimimal electronics experience is required to follow the datasheet \ application notes's good soldering skills are a must in order to successfully realize a functional high speed platform. a prptotype development board would require at least one, possibly two, switching power supplies. And we sugggest using LinearTech PWM step down devices. They are low cost, require minimal components. This allows for a wide input supply voltage range like 4 - 48 volts this makes the radioshack 12V 1A AC wall adapter optimal for the board supply See my Xilinx Virtex BGA based prototype developement board at the below links http://ca.geocities.com/artiedc/files/1.jpg http://ca.geocities.com/artiedc/files/2.jpg any questions or need help email me: --------------------------------- |
