I almost bought one of those digiliant boards ( with the 1m upgrade for an=

of the below boards instead. its a bit cheaper for the same size chip, and=

has a few more features:

I was also considering that kit. This email exchange may be helpful
in your considerations. I was asking them what happens after the 30
day trial period:

Hope that helps,

Maybe another addendum to the altium spartan starter kit, lots of
features...
BUT
No way to permanently store the configuration
( no config-flash, and the spartan configuration pins
are under the bga with NO way to connect to them :(
So It's really intended to show who cooltheir software is.
(I have to admit it really looks and works flashy!!!)
But probably WAY to expensive for your purposes.
cheers thilo
