Nobody else has mentioned this so I'll do so. Symphony EDA which has been distributing a freeware VHDL compiler/simulator has released version 2.0 with a full graphical interface that look to have similiar capabilities to ModelSim. Its just been released in Beta so don't expect perfection yet. I haven't had time to play with it yet but it looks pretty good. The big difference from ModelSim is the price ($199 node locked/$499 floating) (node locked uses the ethernet ID). At the moment you can beta test for free (2 months). |
