EEPROM write/erase - bal_gill21 - Feb 17 13:36:00 2005

Hi all,
Can anyone tell me the actual delay times that are involved with
writing to the 68hc711e9 EEPROM? Do you have to erase the byte first
then write it, or can it be overwritten by a new value? The manual
suggests a write/erase time of 10ms, but it's not too clear if you
have to erase the byte first. Thanks

Bal

must be erased to high. The non-confusing way is to erase the byte or
bulk erase the device.

If you are using BUFFALO, all this is relatively easy.

I believe the information you need is well documented in the "Technical Data
Manual" for the E Series devices.
